Maxillary mesiodens in late medieval age archaeological skeletal remains from Rudina, Croatia

Introduction: The occurrence of mesiodens is somewhat rare, but amongpatients with any kind supernumerary teeth, it rather common. From an anthropological point view, interesting to confirm the development in various historical ages. Case report analyses a and surrounding skeletal remains dating from late medieval ages (13th -16th centuries) which confirms incidence presents conclusion that historically, mesiodens, as form teeth has been present throughout history. Conclusion finding archaeological context proves this type accessory for at least half millennium.
